A blog... well here goes! I feel like a grandma that just got introduced to a new technology. I have no idea what I am actually really doing...but hey there is only ONE way to figure some of this stuff out and that is to plunge in and have fun feeling awkward. Just like learning a new dance step I suppose. You feel it is hard, you feel you look stupid..then you keep working it and then you realize you are doing it and you look back and remember "I remember when I thought that step was hard."
Like right now I am typing this and have no idea how it will look or who will read this... assuming anyone will even find this. Like I said, I feel like a grandma who thinks an ipod is the coolest new thing ever. :-)
Anyhow, enough with the insecurity ramblings...
I named my blog Naive Creativity Tribecca-art for several reasons... one being the grandma effect. I do feel naive in this technology, but also because of the new wave of creativity that has engulfed my life in the past 2 years or so. I am not a trained artist by any stretch of the imagination, but I find myself drawn and involved in so many creative endeavors. Drawing, dress design (for my dancing)...oh yes and dancing - ballroom dancing - my ultimate gorgeous, DELICIOUS obsession, greeting card designs, writing, photography, gardening - and finding myself interested in learning how to edit videos...... Like a said a huge wave just hit me and considering I trained in the hard sciences (re: organic and analytical chemistry) - I feel naive when presented with all the tools found in this new world of creativity. (Blogging is one example). So here I go... ploof!
